Sophie is a U3 student majoring in Honours Political Science and minoring in History. Before becoming Editor in Chief she worked as a Comparative Politics staff writer and as an editor for the Print journal. She is interested in international affairs, with a specific interest in rising powers and security. In her spare time, Sophie loves to read, horseback ride, and do crossword puzzles. Marine Matsumura, Editor in Chief
Marine Matsumura is a U3 student majoring in Political Science. She is mainly interested in immigration policy and transatlantic ties. Before becoming Editor in Chief she worked as a Comparative Politics staff writer She is looking forward to following the evolutions of both American and European responses to immigration and multiculturalism. Mariam Khatambakhsh, Editor in Chief
Mariam is a U2 student majoring in Honours Political Science and minoring in Sociology and Social Entrepreneurship. Before becoming Editor in Chief, Mariam worked as an International Relations Editor. She is generally interested in International Relations, specifically Middle Eastern/Asian politics and immigration. In her spare time, Mariam likes to play guitar and watch indie movies.

Keagan Goforth, Comparative Politics Writer
Keagan is a U3 student majoring in Honours History with a minor in Political Science. This is his second year as a staff writer for the MJPS. His particular areas of interest include political parties, elections, the functioning of political institutions, and especially American politics. Marina Zaki, Comparative Politics Writer
Marina Zaki is a U3 Political Science and Economics student. This is her second year writing for the MJPS as a Staff Writer in the Comparative Politics section. Originally from Egypt, she is deeply interested in Middle Eastern politics, especially in the post-Arab Spring dynamics as well as in studying marginalized communities in the Global South, notably ethnic and religious minorities, migrants and refugees. Clara Desfosses, Comparative Politics Writer
Clara is a U2 Political science student with a minor in economics. Originally from France, this is her first year writing for the MJPS as a staff writer for the French section. She is interested in comparative politics and intergovernmental relations especially with regards to the Middle-East as well as American/European politics. Outside of political science, Clara loves to cook and watch movies.

Tatum Hillier, Canadian Politics Writer
Tatum Hillier is a U0 Arts student, intending to study Political Science. This is their first year writing for MJPS. They are originally from Toronto, Ontario and have a particular interest in Canadian politics, and the inequalities of the judicial system in Canada. When Tatum is not worrying about politics, they can be found reading and watching movies.

Emma Beilouny is studying Law at the University of Montreal. She graduated from McGill in 2022 with a BA in Political Science and Islamic Studies. She is especially interested in the intersection of politics and international criminal law, transitional justice mechanisms, and the Syrian post-conflict dynamics.
