The Liberal cabinet approved the Trans-Mountain pipeline on Tuesday, putting shovels back on the ground in this repeatedly-delayed project. Leaked messages show that Kinder Morgan, the company from which Trudeau purchased the pipeline, relied on the Canadian government’s weak economic skills in preparing a congratulatory gift basket.

The messages obtained by MJPSatire show Richard Kinder telling his assistant to purchase Trudeau’s gift from the dollar store, as “the Canadians seem to have a tough time appraising purchases anyhow and we could always save a Buck or Two.”
